There is no reason to doubt, or to question that history will repeat itself in New Jersey with the Nets. If New Jersey fails to make the playoffs especially after the announcement that Richard Jefferson will have season-ending surgery, and worse still, sends Kidd on his way, look for Vince to return to his old ways. Instead of Air Canada, Vince was just full of hot air. Super Supersonics We have to say that Seattle has got to be the biggest surprise so far this year. at least in terms of team performance. No one expected Seattle to hold their own against anyone in the Eastern Conference, much less be near the top of the West. One only has to watch a game to see how they do it. Taking a page from Detroits bible, the Supersonics have been about teamwork. Everyone contributes and plays a role in their gameplan. They have further cemented their status as a true contender for the championship after taking care of the Heat twice in 7 days this past week. Ok, they lost to Orlando and Washington in between, but regardless, they have to lose a few times in a season anyway.
